" LINE IT UP!!! HOW IS YOUR ALIGNMENT?"
Some people may ask "what is alignment"? According to Merriam-Webster's definition it is the state of being arranged in a line or in proper position. It is also a condition of agreeing with or matching something else. I know that when we hear the word "alignment", we think of our vehicles. Today I want you to think outside of the box.
Consider God as being that line. Are we in proper position to match or agree with him? If we haven't already, it is so important for us to adjust to the straight line to reduce wear and tear in our lives. Just like the tires on our vehicles we want to ensure that our travel is straight and true. This prevents us from pulling to one side. When we align our lives up with God it keeps us on our true path. It is very dangerous to pull to one side. The Bible tells us not to waver, meaning we must not hesitate between choices. "But let him ask in faith nothing wavering. For he that waver is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. (James 1:6 KJV) When we allow ourselves to be pulled to one side we are inviting chaos into our lives. When we choose to be aligned properly we are inviting peace into our lives. We must remember that we do have a choice. How is you alignment with God?
There are benefits to being aligned with God and His word. It affords us to have blessings from above, protection and strength. When certain situations come into our lives we don't have to worry about what in the world is going on. Whatever comes, we know that we have God's protection. He will give us strength to endure it. Nobody ever said that life would be easy, but it certainly could be a lot better when we choose to be aligned properly. We should examine ourselves often to see if we are pulling too much to one side. Seriously, we already know because our lives become a bit of a bumpy road filled with chaos, anxiety, depression and negativity. We can't find PEACE anywhere! We must be honest with ourselves. Ask our God for forgiveness and a REALIGNMENT. His desire is to see us live a successful life by focusing on that straight line which prevents us from being unstable and being a hindrance to our own blessings.
